As part of the ongoing consolidation in the BI solution marketplace, SAP completed their acquisition of Business Objects in January 2008. This has brought together two of the largest BI solution providers and poses the question of how this acquisition will impact new and existing customers and users of both Business Objects and SAP Netweaver BI solutions.
SAP are slowly formulating and communicating their development plans for how they will approach the huge task of integrating these two product offerings along with the timeline for when customers can expect to see changes in their toolsets.
