Finance functions within Local Government are under pressure from several directions. Aside from their day to day challenges they are being required to review both the efficiency of their operations (driven by the Gershon agenda) and the quality and nature of the service they provide (driven by the latest CPA guidelines).
At Morse we are working with a number of local authority finance departments to respond to these challenges. This latest point of view shares our perspective and experiences.
