The investment funds industry in the UK, Europe and Asia faces some challenging business issues as it endeavors to grow its busienss profitably. Major influences such as the increase in open architecture distribution and muti-manager products, combined with expected sales growth over the short-term, will see transactional volumes increase.
Given the lack of standards across the value chain, and with much of teh transactional volumes still being manually processed, it is important that the industry establishes a robust and scalable infrastructure to support distribution and to ensure it controls cost and risk.
