Mather backs experts to capture data dream - Sunday Herald

Leading figures in the 'datafarm' industry wish to ensure that potential developments can be assessed by internationally experienced industry players before presenting themselves as 'national' projects.
"Dr Brian Murray, technology startegist at Morse Group, who prepared the report, said: 'The discussions on data centres that are happening at a local level in Scotland are happening with the interests of certain parties in mind, rather than being driven from a national perspective. We need a view of how Scotland as a whole would benefit, and how this is impacted by decisions that are made at a local level.'"
