Convergence: a different track

[28-04-2008]

Jim Connor, Partner, Morse, is quoted in the April edition of The Fund Business.  The article, 'Convergence: a different track'  looks at how hedge fund managers are launching long-only products and whether they can rival the traditional asset managers.

Jim comments that the main reason for the growing popularity if 130/30 funds is fear and greed. Jim says, "Both of these things have come into play. Some people in the active long-onlt management space have not performed that well and they need to do something about their core product offering.  For hedge funds, they already have experience in this area and they can adapt their skills to this strategy."
