The December edition of Funds Europe featured an article dealing with back office outsourcing. The article dealt with the outsourcing battle being played out by the large asset servicing firms and best of breed organisations.
Jim Connor, Partner, Morse, comments that there is a "comparision between the funds outsourcing to the technology market and the emergence of packaged software where there was and is still a role for the specialist providers particularly for the less commoditised services".
