Morse has been awarded the Regional Award for HP Software BTO (Business Technology Optimisation) Partner of the Year in recognition of the hugely successful work Morse has done in delivering projects to its clients using HP’s suite of products.
The award was presented at HP’s Software Universe event which took place in Hamburg, Germany from 16-18 December 2009. As a HP Platinum Partner for Software and Gold Preferred Partner for Enterprise Storage and Servers (ESS), Morse is a recognised specialist in working with HP products. This is the second award that Morse has received from HP in the last 12 months after winning the ‘HP Computing Systems Specialist’ award back in March. This latest award is a reflection of the company’s efforts in successfully implementing HP solutions over the last financial year and allowing clients to optimise their IT estates for maximum business benefit. For example, Morse has had significant success in helping clients reduce operational expenditure through Data Centre Automation initiatives.
Over the last 12 months Morse has focused its attention on HP’s BTO products, which enable a lifecycle approach to IT management by aligning and automating key processes across critical IT functions such as strategy, applications and operations. This has led to Morse successfully delivering projects to leading financial institutions and telecommunications providers, based around the testing and implementation, automation and management of their data centres. Morse has delivered greater value to clients by lowering their Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and improving deployment timescales.
Mark Nutt, director and general manager of technology at Morse, commented: “Receiving the award is a great accolade for us and we are very proud of the success we have had in demonstrating and delivering the benefits of HP’s products to both new and existing clients. Technology lifecycle management is a growing concern for many organisations, so we have been able to show that by using products like those from HP businesses can better optimise their IT estate. By taking a more strategic approach to sourcing, managing and retiring IT assets, organisations can gain a significant return on investment.”
