The challenge

Morse helped a large mutual funds administrator to develop the operation of the business to enable the single administration system database to operate the business of two companies, for existing and external funds.

The solution

We enabled an open architecture approach to funds offered to their clients. To achieve this, the scope of our service included:

Design of the banking model to ensure that client money is protected at all times
Design of database systems and integration tested the entire business solution
Design and build of spreadsheet solutions where no other economic alternative to calculate daily bank transfers to and from client money bank accounts and ensure that the accounts were capable of automated reconciliation
Facilitate workshops to determine optimum solutions to potential problems within the business, created by the new products and client money requirements
Develop procedures and training material for the staff affected by the changes and provided support during the initial change period.
