The challenge

Keen to capitalise on opportunities presented by the advent of digital music and to improve the efficiency of its business, EMI decided to implement an SAP enterprise resource planning solution globally (Europe, Japan and North America). Recognising the need for effective management of the large and sophisticated solution, EMI did not want the expense of building and running its own support organisation.

The solution

Most of the support function is 'smartsourced' to Morse. Morse helped EMI set up a global competency centre to structure the support organisation. Morse provides proactive and reactive elements of applications management, monitoring systems to keep them running efficiently and handling incidents through to resolution. Morse also works with EMI to develop and deploy additional functionality based on evolving business requirements.
