Skin and body care retailer, The Body Shop International, needed to fulfill its growth strategy by moving into new geographical markets and extending its sales channels in existing markets. However, because of multiple legacy systems in different countries, it was difficult to get an accurate and timely view of supply chain performance across its operations.

The solution

The company decided to introduce SAP enterprise applications for retail in its headquarters, regional offices, warehouses and stores worldwide. Morse worked with SAP consultants to implement core SAP modules, SAP Business Warehouse and POS Data Management, as well as providing advice and tools for change management.

The solution provides consistency in forecasting, ordering and distribution processes in multiple countries. Regions can reallocate stock appropriately, preventing unnecessary reordering and reducing inventory levels.
