"The investor was able to progress the transaction with a high degree of confidence that the key issues and risks had been identified, detailed and their financial implications assessed. "
A global private equity investor was seeking to purchase a IT software product company. The company developed and implemented an enterprise scale financial fraud software product.
The investor was concerned about the maturity of their product management, development and deployment processes, the quality and functionality of the software, and the issues which would be encountered if massively higher transactional volumes were processed.
Initial technology due diligence was performed with the full collaboration of the target company. The scope included product management, development and testing processes, development costs and people/cultural issues.
The investor was able to progress the transaction with a high degree of confidence that the key issues and risks had been identified, detailed and their financial implications assessed.
