Skills and experience
- Strong experience of client facing Windows NT/2000/XP support experience, and in an Investment Banking environment
- A good working knowledge of Windows XP on the desktop
- Good application knowledge (particularly MS Office 2000/2003)
- Proven experience supporting Bloomberg/Reuters (or equivalent systems) on the desktop
- Competent hardware knowledge of desktop computers and printers
- Experience of laptops/PDA’s/mobile technology
- Experience of messaging systems (Outlook/Exchange Server) and remote desktop systems
- Usage of helpdesk systems (e.g. Remedy, Peregrine, Royal Blue etc.)
- Broad understanding and experience of using dealer board telephone systems
- Experience of managing and supporting call escalation systems and dealer boards
- Experience of additional applications (e.g. Lotus Notes) and additional market data application experience (e.g. DataStream etc.) an advantage
Qualifications
- Professional qualifications considered an advantage e.g. MCSE 2000/2003/XP
