The Morse Asset Retirement Programme focuses on four key issues: risk, security, cost and asset management. It encompasses all aspects of retirement from providing engineering resource to undertake the decommissioning work, to dedicated logistical support to remove the asset from site, and a fully compliant asset management function.
Key to the programme are the areas of equipment audit and data destruction, which is fully certified to many software standards including US Department of Defence 5220.22-M. This enables asset registers and support contracts to be updated while allowing the business to meet the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and The WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
